The method

Three stages. Either lane, or both.

Audit first, always. Build second, with your team in the room. Sustain only if you need it. The stages do not change when the lane changes. A firm that runs two lanes with two methods is two agencies badly, and the method is the thing that keeps us one.

01 + Audit & pathway 3-5 weeks

Where you are, where the value is, and the order to do it in.

Three to five weeks, fixed scope, sold on its own. It ends in a decision rather than a deck, and it is designed so that you can stop after it.

We do

  • Current-state assessment across capability, tooling, data and team
  • Value mapping. Where the return actually sits, sized in money
  • A sequenced pathway: what to do first, and what to do never
  • A scope decision: one lane or both

You get

  • A scored current-state map
  • A prioritised pathway with a business case per step
  • A go or no-go on stage two
02 + Build & embed 3-6 months

This is the part that is not consultancy.

Three to six months in the business, building with the team rather than for them. The team is trained on the tool, not told about it, and what we write down is written for the people who stay. The test is simple. When we leave, does it still run.

We do

  • Hands-on delivery. We build with the team, not for them
  • Capability building: training, pairing, documentation that outlives us
  • Change management. Adoption, incentives, and the internal narrative
  • Team development: structure, hiring input, ways of working

You get

  • A working capability in production
  • A trained team that can run it
  • Documentation you own
03 + Sustain Ongoing, if needed

Optional, and we say so.

Not every client needs this. If you do not, we tell you, and the engagement ends where it should. Where it is needed it is cover rather than delivery.

We do

  • Advisory retainer. A senior line to call
  • Quarterly review against the pathway
  • Escalation cover for launches, migrations and platform changes
Specimen + what you receive

The anatomy of what you get.

We cannot show you another company's audit. We can show you the shape of one. Every deliverable in stage one has a fixed structure, and you see that structure before you buy it.

Specimen
  1. Current-state map

Scored across capability, tooling, data and team

  2. Value map

Every opportunity sized in money, not in ambition

  3. Pathway

Sequenced steps, each with a business case and an owner named inside your business

  4. Do-not-do list

The work we think you should never start

  5. Decision

Go or no-go on stage two, written down, yours either way

Where we say no

A pathway that only says yes is a wish list.

The parts of a method that matter most are the parts that stop something. These are published so you can hold us to them.

  • The pathway names what to do never, not only what to do first.
  • The audit ends in a go or no-go, and no is a real answer.
  • Stage three is optional. If a client does not need it, we tell them.
  • One lane is a complete engagement. Both is a full lift, not an upsell.
Next

The audit is the first move.

One lane or both. Tell us which you think you are in and we will tell you whether we agree.
